MAORI CARPENTRY CLASSES

WHAT OUR STUDENTS HAVE TO SAY

Tena Koutou,

LFT will deliver free theory classes to help any Maori carpentry apprentices enrolled with the BCITO with their theory learning.

These classes will begin in the second week of November 2020 and are designed to help you pass theory/ knowledge assessments. We aim to create a fun, relaxed class where you gain the relevant knowledge to pass your assessments and have a complete set of notes to help you revise.

There is a PowerPoint presentation for each class which contains relevant information from your BCITO manuals and contains lots of photos and videos which help you learn and will start conversations.

These classes will be held on Zoom and are discussion-based (we share what we know and our on-site experiences)

We will also work through written questions together as a group.  This class is not for people to sit and copy notes from aboard. You will be asked to participate and share your knowledge with the group.

The only thing you will need is a pen and access to Zoom Video Confrencing.

You will be assessed by your training advisor on your normal three monthly site visit cycle.

Attending the night classes does not guarantee that you will pass an assessment, but most of the guys in the class say that attending class is a big help towards passing. Check out our feedback forms to see what past trainees have said.

We will only take the first 30 committed trainees per class.
