Carpentry Theory Classes

Our online Carpentry Theory night classes are designed to help you gain knowledge to pass your BCITO theory/ knowledge assessments.

Our classes are discussion-based, we share what we know and what we have seen and experienced on-site.

We cover the main Carpentry theory topics required for your New Zealand Certificate over 3 x 10-week blocks. You can start with any stage (1, 2 or 3). You will need access to your own wifi, a computer/laptop and/or mobile to join in the class.

We will work through written questions together as a group, rather than sitting passively copying notes off a screen.

Attending the night classes doesn’t guarantee that you’ll pass an assessment, but most people who’ve attended say that they’ve been a big help. Please check out the testimonials!

For 2024 and in order to fully support you with your apprenticeship, BCITO will be providing these classes for FREE! They  normally charge $300 for each block of 10-night classes.
